Conveyor Belts Type 430, 440

Belts for quenching and tempering furnaces, wire belts for annealing and metallurgy.

Description of Types 430 and 440

Alike the Type 400, these belts are made of broadly wound spiral wire. However, in order to achieve the highest possible density there are more transverse wires per pitch (3  or 4). The transverse wires are edged by welding, side plates or by bended woven sides. The spiral wire is of a round section. This belt is very dense and holds heat well.

Characteristics

  • direct run of the belt
  • thanks to its smooth surface the belt is suitable for transportation of products with a small contact area
  • suitable for transportation of small products thanks to small open  area
  • high belt density leads to good heat accumulation and retention
  • long working life

Application

As a discharge belt in glassworks, as a conveyor belt for quenching and tempering furnaces, as a conveyor belt in the food industry, as a conveyor belt in the electrical and engineering industries, etc.

This type of belt is most commonly used for:

  • sintering (caking)
  • brazing
  • quenching
  • tempering
  • annealing
  • baking
  • continuous transportation
